Maps and more maps

DSC_8317Thanks to Al Karnatz from the Vermont Land Trust, we have a great route to follow!  He helped us find relatively quiet and scenic roads on the maps, which he photo copied for us from his amazing collection.

File_000 (2)My counter wasn’t long enough to handle the route all the way across, so the upper row is the first half of our journey, and below takes us all the way to the Pacific.  Looking forward to seeing all these places soon!

DSC_8318Gifts from Al – we can show off our love for Vermont all the way across the country!

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
    An Irish Blessing
